DANJIN VICTOR KALAI is a seasoned Facilities Manager with over 22 years of experience in built environment under his belt. He began working with Savannah Landev Konsult Nig. Ltd. in year 2002. Among the projects he worked on were the valuation of landed properties of Billiri and Balanga Local Government Areas of Gombe State and the development of a master plan for Gombe town.
After that, in 2004, he was employed into the services of the Central Bank of Nigeria as a Service Officer, and he was posted to CBN Jos Branch to supervise and guarantee the smooth operation of facilities of the Branch. He was later transferred to CBN Head Office, Abuja in 2007 and worked his way up to the position of Assistant Director,. As a result of his commitment to excellence, he was appointed as the Head, Facilities Management Division where he was saddled with the responsibilities of overseeing and guaranteeing the efficient upkeep of CBN facilities across the country. He also ensure a safe and healthy work environment for staff of the Bank and he was able to use best business practices to cut operating costs and increase efficiency.
Among the skills he exhibited while discharging his duties was coordinating the successful implementation of workable policies for facilities management, strategic planning for maintenance services, managing outsourced relationships, effective planning of office space, and obtaining all regulatory approvals.
